Danish Christmas Lunch!

IMG_7562

On December 15th, INARI GLEAN cafe and bar, hosted a Danish Christmas Lunch! Why a Danish Christmas themed lunch you ask? Well, one of our lovely staff is from Denmark! Alex, being a native Dane and a really nice guy, wanted and was happy to share his culture and cuisine with anyone who was interested in experiencing a Danish styled Christmas lunch, just like they do in Denmark! Wow! It being not so common in Japan, especially in Osaka, this was an experience that should have not been missed! Danish food, presents and games were played. And Alex shared and taught everyone about his Danish heritage, especially what happens and what Danish people do during Christmas time.

Up in the cold north they have the tradition to gather with their family and friends every year for a Christmas lunch, eating to your very limit only to be told that the dessert is on its way! This was something the guests also experienced first hand and loved it. Some even reported that they didn’t need dinner the same day!

So should you be in the area when Inari Glean hosts another event with or without food from the north then drop in and eat to your hearts content!
